Web Series | ‘Shootout’ BMW M4 vs Alfa Romeo QV

Filmed as a road trip, the precursor of the series was to put 10 performance cars head-to-head by traveling across South Africa testing road and track performance. The multi episode series included filming in country towns and across mountain passes, culminating in a showdown of performance testing and drag races on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

The series formed part of a campaign that spanned across social media, radio, and print for CAR Magazine South Africa’s annual Performance ‘Shootout’.

This web series focused on being inspirational to a young aspirational audience. The series presented a wide array of creatives from comedians and musicians, to actresses and make-up artists, imparting insight on the trials of their journey, and potential routes to creative success.

Web Series | ‘Discrimination’

Produced for Adonis Musati Project, an NGO advocating for refugee rights, this episode formed part of a series speaking to the youth and kids of asylum seekers and refugees in Cape Town. The intention of the series was giving a voice to the marginalized youth, address issues of identity, self worth, and empower with skills to deal with real issues such as daily discrimination.

‘SIFA’ follows the journey of a Chris-Anne Sifa, a young refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo now living in South Africa, as she recounts the experience of fleeing her home country at the age of eight, the journey on foot to South Africa, and rebuilding a new life with her family. A story of searching for identity, belonging and hope, in a country well know for its acts of xenophobia.

‘Conversations’ explores the often neglected stories and knowledge held by the elders of society. The documentary looks at the once pivotal leadership role provided by our elders, to reflect on a society misguided and led by media and politicians.

Trailer | ‘The Black Christ’ Documentary

In 1962 Apartheid South Africa an angered young ‘coloured’ artist created a painting of a crucifixion scene, depicting the then head of the ANC being tortured on the cross by the then deeply religious and conservative leaders of the country.

The feature documentary follows the journey and torture of the artist, and the subsequent banning and disappearance of the painting.
